According to Adam Beasley with the Miami Herald, Grimes’ wife, Miko, was “arrested on charges of battery using a police officer” and “resisting arrest with violence.” She “also faces electric power charge of disorderly conduct, per Miami-Dade PD, the arresting agency,” Beasley reported.
“Police say Miko Grimes broke by having a police barricade and entered [a] restricted area, head-butted a police officer & shouted obscenities,” reported WPLG Local 10 News.

This isn't first time Miko Grimes makes headlines. Per Jason Lisk in the Big Lead, Grimes went over a Twitter rant directed at the NFL in January. After she had emergency oral surgery, her husband asked head coach Jason Garrett for permission to go away the Pro Bowl. However, in accordance with Lisk, someone else within the NFL apparently “pulled his paid appearances when he missed practice.”
This apparently sparked Miko Grimes’ commentary using a variety of topics in connection with NFL, like the league’s difficulties with domestic violence, Thursday night games, concussion concerns and franchise tags. Lisk described the Twitter rant was “at 40 tweets and counting.”
The arrest provides Brent Grimes and the team set out to prepare for a Week 4 showdown while using New York Jets.
