Nimble rider Ducati MotoGP Andrea Iannone injuring his shoulder again

Ducati MotoGP rider Andrea Iannone has suffered a second shoulder dislocation in four months, but he will still contest next weekend's Aragon Grand Prix. Iannone sustained the initial injury in a testing crash at Mugello prior to the Italian GP, though he did not miss any races a result. He then repeated the dislocation when he fell over while running on Wednesday. The shoulder was put back into position at a hospital in Vasto in Italy on Thursday morning, with tests confirming he had escaped other injuries apart from possible tendon damage. Iannone had already planned to have surgery on the damaged shoulder following the season finale at Valencia in November. He admitted during the summer break that the pain from the injury had persisted ever since the original crash. The 26-year-old is in the middle of his strongest MotoGP season so far, holding fourth in the championship with five rounds left of his first year in Ducati's factory team. He took his maiden pole position and a career-best finish of second at Mugello in the first race after his injury.
