Tottenham vs Manchester City: Team News, Predicted Lineups, Live Stream, TV Info

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are hoping they are able to conclude domestic duties in September with a high note at White Hart Lane this Saturday.

Ninth and first within the Premier League, respectively, both have experienced a mixed preceding 1 week.

Tottenham secured their second league win of year at home to Crystal Palace but were not able to follow it up in Wednesday's Capital One Cup north London derby clash. Man City enjoyed a palate-cleansing 4-1 dismantling of Sunderland from the latter competition after having suffered their first league defeat at West Ham United days earlier.

Despite losing to Arsenal, the competitive nature in their effort in addition to their preceding form has Spurs optimistic about securing the first win over City since 2013.

"Manchester City can be a big team, a solid team, but we all know that we are strong acquainted with the support of our own fans," Nacer Chadli told Tottenham's official website. "They will have a big side as well as they’ve bought well with a few great players, but we have a substantial group too and we understand we can play good football and we all will do good."
Meanwhile, Man City defender Pablo Zabaleta believes Tuesday's defeat from the Black Cats has place them nicely to really make it five defeats of Spurs back to back.

"We stood a couple of losses recently but we stood a great reaction in midweek at Sunderland so we go into an extremely difficult game at Tottenham but hopefully we are able to carry the momentum from Tuesday’s game accessible away using a win," Zabaleta asked his club's website.

"Overall, it’s been a very good ground for people in recent seasons and that we hope it is the same again on Saturday."
